Made this for a competition in DeviantArt. Any comments?

Already commented and faved on dA, I really like the simple and clean style. Good job. :mrgreen:

Only thing I can think of is the size of the mouth. It seems a bit too small for what I remember of style use more commonly by gimp users of DeviantArt. Now I know not all of the people do that style, but something about the small mouth doesn't sit right with the collaborative images in my sub-conscience.

 

 

 

Ah!! I just noticed something else on a final glance. The inner edge of the thick border on the main body seams slightly pixelated... or maybe I'm seeing things so late at night... I'd hit it with the feather tool to soften the edge.

Nah you're not, I can see it too. Could indeed use some feathering.

Nah, tried to do that but failed epicly. And the mouth, first I had it a lot bigger, but it didn't fit the image well, so I made it smaller.

I think the mouth is just a bit too blocky. Everything else is rounded and the mouth is just has these straight lines.
