Only thing I can think of is the size of the mouth. It seems a bit too small for what I remember of style use more commonly by gimp users of DeviantArt. Now I know not all of the people do that style, but something about the small mouth doesn't sit right with the collaborative images in my sub-conscience. Ah!! I just noticed something else on a final glance. The inner edge of the thick border on the main body seams slightly pixelated... or maybe I'm seeing things so late at night... I'd hit it with the feather tool to soften the edge. Thats all my c/c I think. ~MsM~

Unoalexi, this is a joke right? I would hardly consider an unfinished example missing half the original content to be a remake. And while you busy berating me, don't forget to go nag destro3979 for his moon remake as well. To be honest I don't think Great_one is going to call me out on this one. Its not like I was taking credit for his work. Hell, I don't even take credit for my own work let alone other peoples. I dither too much?? I don't dither enough.

Well I got bored again and these evil arctic birds were on my mind. I seem to see a lot of them here in the gallery. But anyways, here you have it. These are super spiffy "evil jazz penguins" complete with [developmentally delayed]ed outfits and matching top hats. (Yes... I know I lack originality.) Anyways... this took about 3 hours I would guess. If someone wants this they can have it for free, I dont really like images in my sig so I'm not going to be using it. C/C

This is a nice piece indeed. My only issues is with the placement of the copyright info. I know copyright is import to some people and their work, but I hate when a good piece is marred by a watermark. Lets be honest I don't think either you or me really need to worry about losing money or recognition over wallpapers. I don't we have achieved that kind of status in the art world. I'm at an under-graduate art school and I still don't even bother to sign my work. I just think it looks tacky. I'm not telling you to remove it, but perhaps move it to the darker corner maybe or maybe have it run the length of one of the black rays so it at least flows with the rest. Sorry to lecture you... ^_^ Just my thoughts. ~MsM~

Got bored while working on something else, so I thought I would take a shot at a quick remake.

Well you know, detailed is the way to go when it come to pixle art in my opinion. Been thiking about that handle and I still cant think of how I want to fix it. And you dont want to know how long it took me to do the fire, lol.

I think I can help you out some. Have a look at these simple steps. Also, I think you need to study up more on the difference between isometric and perspective drawings. Maybe even looking at some dimetric or Axonometric drawings too. its good to know the difference between them all.

Well I said I was going to make something, and this is what I came up with. I know its not really a sig or anything cool, but a start is a start I guess. My first time trying to do fire-like stuff. And no its not supposed to be fire, just a fire-looking sword of sorts. I think the handle really sucks balls, but I don't feel like fixing it right now. If someone wants to do any tweaking they have my permission to do such. C&c if you would like to.

I should have mentioned also that 1&2 are newer as well, perhaps within this last year I think. #1 was never ment to be anything more then what you see there: a pratice piece. #2 like most of my recent stuff is still unfinished. As for the grass on the 4th one... I think you save as 28-bit .jpeg and then re-save as a .gif to get the texture. #'s 3-6 all suck (well maybe not #4 so much). You notice none of then have any noses? I really sucked at making people back then and still even some now. I don't think I even tried to draw feet on any of them. I'm trying to think of something to make as we speak. Any ideas?
