July 1, 200818 yr Can someone explain what the new detail choices are and do? Antialiasing, idle animations, flickering effects, dynamic and static scene shadows, and when do u see fog?
July 1, 200818 yr It's pretty straightforward. Antialiasing removes jagged edges, idle animations are animations when you are moving, flickering effects are, well, effects caused by flickering, and the fog is the stuff that appears where the old blackness was.
July 1, 200818 yr Author but can u give exampels of where soem of them are or what they are? like wat is something that i do while idle?
July 1, 200818 yr Moving back and forth or other stuff, I can't give examples well because high details don't work on my computer.
July 1, 200818 yr Idle animation would be things that move when you are stood still. For example, your character breathing and his chest moving up and down, or your cape fluttering in the wind I don't know if runescape has these, it's just an example. Obviously if you turn them off, it doesn't have to render them so you save memory which reduces lag.
July 1, 200818 yr Can someone explain what the new detail choices are and do? Antialiasing, idle animations, flickering effects, dynamic and static scene shadows, and when do u see fog? Antialiasing - When running removes the jagged angles you can see, requires more of your graphics card however. Idle Animations - Anything that occurs while stationary - flags, capes moving with 2hs. Flickering effects - Fires? Lights/candles? No idea about the shadows Fog - Is what is infront of you, when you tilt the camera, basically outside of the minimap area.
July 2, 200818 yr Dynamic shadows are shadows as they should look considering light effects and angles. Static scene shadows are... well... static and won't change. [404] Signature not found.
