Real life clan meetings

Featured Replies

I think its too risky, people can end up being a be a stalker or NI could crash with fire blasts L.
Logging out on real life solves the problem.

For real life meetings, I'm not worried about creepy killers attending. The chances of someone like that in a clan coming to the meeting is slim. Love the 2M video :)

Like Mr. D (what we call Decebalus) said, we simply live too far from each other. The Dutch and other small country clans have an easier time with this. I am known for my paranoia, but if my order ever was really big, had a rich patron who would pay for airfare and rooms/ campground, I think I could find my way to going to a Real Life meeting. Of course I am a good deal older (22) than most of the runescape players; and I suppose most of our members for that matter. Stalkers do not bother me personally, seeing as I am a very big guy (no, not big as in fat, big as in tall and having a wide build) but I can see how it could be a problem for our younger members. Best to do this sort of thing in a fairly public place... Frankly I think people are overly frightened of online predators. I have a few enemies in real life who I have to worry about allot more...

Either way I doubt Jagex really approves of having these meetings, or for that matter the clans that host them.

Haha this topic and the posts bring some memories back.

There's a very tight Russia rs community of about 150 strong, a lot of them living in the capital city, Moscow.

Some of the regulars posters there decided to get together, it was about 30 people in total, super fun. What we mostly did was get drunk and just associate everything with Runescape, lawl.

"Look at that noob in full black, I bet I could DDS KO him in a sec" - random guy in a suite walking by.

This was like 2 years ago when scamming was full on. One of the most famous scammers back in the day came and got beaten pretty badly. Haven't seen or heard of him since :)

Fun, fun.

^^^ What was the name of that community? I might remember it.
