Trimmed & Untrimmed Skill Capes?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to member RS, so I have only been doing some quests and skills etc... But I was thinking about for when I get a 99 skill, I hear (read rather) people mentioning having trimmed/untrimmed capes?

Can someone please explain the difference between the two for me and why I read you can only have one untrimmed cape at a time? (Is it for looks or what? How different are they to obtain?)

Thanks + Sorry for asking such a newb question.

Make that 3!

You only have an untrimmed cape if you have one 99. As soon as you get 2 or more 99's, all your skillcapes will instantly be trimmed.

trimmed gives +4 prayer bonus, untrimmed doesn't.

also, trimmed requires 2 or more 99s. if you have 5 99s, then all the 5 capes will be trimmed. if you only have 1 99, then only that cape is untrimmed until you get another 99.
