Jason321
So I was bored and hadn't made anything in a while so I decided to mess around in PhotoShop. This was the result. [hide=Abstract Pentool Signature] V2: Changes: Darkened it a bit because it was WAY too bright.[/hide] Then I decided to make a larger version of it. [hide=Larger Version] V2: Changes: Darkened it a bit because it was WAY too bright.[/hide] Personally, I think the smaller version looks better. I'm not really looking for any CC since it was mainly just messing around and about a 5 minute job. So anyways, I thought it looked pretty good. But tell me what you guys think. Shiny
Far, far, far too bright. It looked really good until...AHH MY EYES!!!. Tone it done. Please. Add a colour mask or something. But tone it down. Now for the actual thing. It looks quite nice, some good flow and effects I like it. The smaller one is definitely my favourite. If it was me I would of used some nicer colours. Darker shades maybe? Jason321
Dang. Now that I look at it, it does seem pretty bright :wall: Thanks. Curves Layer FTW? Better? Jopie211
Looks ok, but it lacks contrast, making it hard to see the different shapes. Other than that, it's a bit boring, but not really bad. pixel avvy by me deviantART
Jason321
Well, Jopie. I agree it does lack contrast and is a bit boring. But I really can't comprehend how it is hard to make out the shapes. Thanks for the comments. Avatar by Unoalexi :: Signature by Skull_Emblem Illumination Graphics :: Click here to download the BeyondGFX resource pack! Jopie211
Because all the shapes have really bright and light colours, you have to look closely to be able to see some of them. In other words, because of the colours they blend into the background a bit too much. pixel avvy by me deviantART
Jason321
I know what you're saying. I just don't really agree with it. Anyways, it doesn't really matter. Thanks for commenting. dsavi
I tried playing around with the colors a bit but it was saved as jpg, which is ok, but the changes brought out the bad quality. If you get what I mean.
Jason321
Looking good, but when you reduced the brightness it looks like you just did a layer of something off-white and reduced the opacity which makes it hard to distinguish between shapes etc. Text looks alright too :) I can't wait for the end result aswell. I always Save for web & Devices > JPEG and choose the quality, lol. Unless I need transparency. DW about the colours. I get what you mean. I'm not really looking to change it. Read my previous post. I used a curves layer and I don't think I'm going to change anything. Avatar by Unoalexi :: Signature by Skull_Emblem Illumination Graphics :: Click here to download the BeyondGFX resource pack! pryomancer
I like the smooth pastel colours, but I agree there isn't much contrast between the shapes, there needs to be definition and depth.
Jason321
Yeah, I know what you mean. I wasn't sure how to create that depth. I might try again later if I feel like it.
