Abstract Pentooling

Featured Replies

So I was bored and hadn't made anything in a while so I decided to mess around in PhotoShop. This was the result.

Changes: Darkened it a bit because it was WAY too bright.[/hide]

Then I decided to make a larger version of it.

Personally, I think the smaller version looks better. I'm not really looking for any CC since it was mainly just messing around and about a 5 minute job. So anyways, I thought it looked pretty good. But tell me what you guys think.

Far, far, far too bright.

It looked really good until...AHH MY EYES!!!.

Tone it done. Please. Add a colour mask or something. But tone it down.

Now for the actual thing. It looks quite nice, some good flow and effects I like it. The smaller one is definitely my favourite. If it was me I would of used some nicer colours. Darker shades maybe?

Looks ok, but it lacks contrast, making it hard to see the different shapes. Other than that, it's a bit boring, but not really bad.

Because all the shapes have really bright and light colours, you have to look closely to be able to see some of them. In other words, because of the colours they blend into the background a bit too much.

I tried playing around with the colors a bit but it was saved as jpg, which is ok, but the changes brought out the bad quality. If you get what I mean.

Looking good, but when you reduced the brightness it looks like you just did a layer of something off-white and reduced the opacity which makes it hard to distinguish between shapes etc.

Text looks alright too :)

I can't wait for the end result aswell.

I always Save for web & Devices > JPEG and choose the quality, lol. Unless I need transparency. DW about the colours. I get what you mean. I'm not really looking to change it.

Read my previous post. I used a curves layer and I don't think I'm going to change anything.

I like the smooth pastel colours, but I agree there isn't much contrast between the shapes, there needs to be definition and depth.
