How to join multiple .mp4's to one file?

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have been making backups of my DVD collection and converting them to .mp4 format so I can watch them on my iPod/PSP. However, I made a mistake with DVD Decrypter I accidentally set file splitting to 1GB files so I have around 4-6 .mp4 files that make up the DVD. So I need a free program to join my .mp4's to one .mp4 - Please do not suggest .mp4 Joiner...as it only does like half of the files then says you need to purchase. If there is a shareware option suggest that too as I might have to buy it if no freeware options are available.

Thanks in advance,

Perry

Convert them all over again?

Edit: Maybe you can d/l a trial of Sony Vegas and add all of them to the time line and then render it as .mp4?

I'd recommend MediaCoder. It's a little rough around the edges but it can do what you want (and much more).

That's what I've been using to convert to .mp4 - The joiner takes like 10 hours though.

I'll just copy the DVD's again. \'

MD4 should be supported by 'Windows Movie Maker' which should be default on all windows OS.

If its not supported or you don't have windows then you could always try Camtasia Studios, which is a screen recorder and video editor.
