Assassin1357
Well I figure its finally time I get a fire cape. I am bored of my obby cape or my legends cape. I put together a outfit and inventory. I would like opinions on it and what I should change to make things easier. I am going to sell the archer ring when Im done since I will never use it. I can spend around 500k on supplies if needed, I need the rest for summoning.
nerdattack16
Use an accumulator since you're using a crossbow. Picking up bolts is super annoying, and the accumulator beats out the +3 prayer since you've got 70 prayer anyways. You also might be want bring about two hundred more regular bolts. Other than that, you've got prime stats and equipment for your budget. Good luck. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D

And I had a offer in the GE for bolts so thats taken care of.

TriangleNub
Using an accumulator will make things much better. Also, try not to panic on Jad. The reason most people die to Jad is they panic.

agentbravo
i would use emerald bolt E for everything except jad instead of addy bolts, because posion can kill the 360's / 90s quicker, but its up to you. 13480th to 99 fm on 08-23-
green9090
DO NOT USE KARILS Use a black dragonhide body. Compare their melee defense and ranged bonus. No reason to use Karils anyplace where you aren't worried about magic defense. No reason to use Karils anyplace where you aren't worried about magic defense. Karil's has better ranged defense bonuses. The only thing that should hurt you in the caves is ranged from the 90's, as you pray magic against 360's and safespot 180's. Therefore, Karil's is preferable. To the guy who said to get extra bolts: with an accumulator, I usually use a max of 500 bolts/trip. You should be fine. My strategy involves getting close to the 90s so they use mostly melee, which I think is pretty standard. You're looking at an extra +2 ranged def vs -10 crush def, plus you have to pay for Karils. I'm not seeing it. Join "DG Sweepers" Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn |

In addition, this will cause you to need to run towards a monster, instead of staying in place. This could give the 360's a chance of meleeing you, causing unnecessary damage. green9090
Because the 90s hit WAY harder with ranged than melee, and use mostly melee in close combat. If the 360s are out, you're already praying mage, so adding another combat style doesn't matter. If you're not stupid, you won't have to worry about getting too close to a 360 by running toward a different monster. tryto
Because the 90s hit WAY harder with ranged than melee, and use mostly melee in close combat. If so, then yes, your way would be better. I still believe that 1)Too much unnecessary effort 2)Most people should finish with a couple extra brews anyways, unless they decide to let Jad hit a few 80's on them. To each his own, I guess. green9090
In addition, I would argue that +2 ranged def is not worth it, especially since you can pay less and get 10 more crush def, in case you get hit by a 180/360. Not to mention the healers, which is the worst part. Spartan Rebel
you should be able to do it fine I tried at 45 def, ran out of pots at wave 59, you should have no problem with that setup
max_miller20
Accumulator is really the only fix. Karils top versus black d hide body, doesn't really matter, their both equal for the caves in my opinion. If you want to bring 100-150 purple sweets, this really isn't necassary but it can help with restoring run and will be a little bit extra food. Only use them if you can afford them and want to feel a little bit safer. Does it really matter whether I was right? #-oThis is Tipit. There is nothing more important than being right. Common sense is nothing more than a deposit of prejudices laid down in the mind before you reach eighteen.
