Item Lending Suggestion

Featured Replies

A lot of people dislike that any random person appears like they obtained wealth they don't really have, devaluing the achievements people have made that actually earned the same item. My suggestion to jagex for this is simple: make lent items 50% transparent. They already have the coding for this with ghost armor, so it really shouldn't be much of a coding hassle. Thoughts?

P.S.: Anyone who is currently a member, if you agree with this idea, would you mind posting it on the RSOF for me?

One thing I would like to add to this, is a timer if your borrowing. I got a item, but, I dont know how long I have on it, its kinda annoying, I dont want to start another run, but want to get the most out of it.

As for the transparency? I dont think its necessary.

Maybe the first day, but then when people realize its just because the item was lent they wont think anything about it is special.

Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.

Might as well paint a target on friends eh? People who don't like item lenders will start making fun of lenders:

"nub, at least i have my own sword, you have to borrow yours" etc....

And why make it ghostly ;)

Make it purple or something.
