Clue Scroll Luck

After getting the lousiest possible lvl 3 clue scroll reward...i was wondering - is it more likely to get a better reward from getting the clue from a higher lvl monster...or is all purely luck? :shock:

You're not the only one. I do probably 3 clue scrolls a week. And for as long as I've been playing, I've only gotten a guilded plate. That's it. And then there's people who get 3rd age on their very first level 3 clue. It's based purely on luck. Good luck!

Pure luck. I've done probably 20-30 clues in my Runescape Lifetime (used to drop them before I learned how much money you COULD make :wall:). Out of all of those, I've only gotten ranger boots as a treasure-trail specific reward that was actually worth money.

i got zammies on my first scroll and then i went on a drought of like 20 scrolls without getting anything useful
