Did you do the render?... probably not, all you've done is add text with a thick stroke

 

 

 

and where's the border?

Well its not a single render. Its some brushed renders... they didnt have all the choppyness, it was very basic. Your right, i should probably start making my own renders.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I didnt add a border cos i dont feel they are necessary, and yeh im still learning adding good text.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Ok, i found the first brushed layer, which i suppose can be called little work. But then i did a whole lot of effects until i got the final product.

 

 

 

Ok im a bit more impressed after seeing the original now but i think the text still needs a lot of work, it lets it down. And a border on a piece such as this really is neccesary even if you think not.

borders are always a good idea. it makes sigs look finished. not bad but it seems a bit too dark, especially the text that goes with it.
