try media discussion next time. ;)
  2. wrong boards, try media discussion next time instead of media market. nice sig though, but i think it'll be nicer with a cape? and are those scims held upside down?
  3. i might give this ago. just need to think of a concept... i'll "TRY" pixeling with this.

add some more shading underneath the platform on the sand and abit on the water maybe. and yeah, save it as a png or gif file. png for better quality, gif for low file size.
  5. pretty nice. need to clean up the lines on the walls abit though. needs a border and yeah the robes aren't blended in correctly.

omg! godslayer and misterxman posted with they're wise advice. godslayer: i'll attempt another perspective of the swords later, maybe. :? besides, he's not fighting; well not really, more like at the end of a battle where you just pose and show off. misterxman: the collesseum is an awsome idea, thanks. :D j272: i'd prefer to keep it similar to rs since it is for rs. i've also experimented with that position myself and it feels comfortable, to me anyways... plus it looks cool, IMO. :P edited so J272 won't think he's too sucky to mention. besides i haven't seen much of your work, and godslayer's and misterxman's works are just awsomeness. ---------(update) fixed the handle on the 2h, attempted the collosseum background... CC, ideas, anything? :?

oh. nah he's a kid so no need to shave.

j272, thanks for the cc. good idea about the handle on the 2h. reason for the gold is to keep it similar colours as it is in runescape. i'm not sure about what you mean by stubble. :? he's hair is meant to be covering his eyes cause he's looking down. so erm yeah... and Wal-Mart? i'm thinking a wildy scene, no particular spot. just have a few dead bodies on the background. let's hope it all turns out ok.

i usually pixel for myself so shading doesn't matter too much. still in the process of thinking of the background. i'll post update once i'm done with linework. :D
  12. http://www.1001freefonts.com is another.
  13. Jervi replied to Jervi's topic in Art and Media
i do pixels for myself. i don't sell them. anyone got ideas for a background? i don't really like shading so i work alot on my linework. :? DeEjAysL3Ak: the font used is FF interface01. thanks everyone for the positive feedback. :D

update: started with basic colour and added the cape. kind of forgot to have the cape with the linework at the beginning. over 30 page views and still no replies? :o
  15. MSpaint is awsome, simple and has all the basic tools to make pixel art, pencil tool. :D if you want something with more of an "umph", you can try Graphics Gale. just google search it, can't remember the website. anyways it's NOT FREE but it gives you a trial and if you like it, you can buy it. Graphics Gale enables some basic animations, multiple layers, etc. but if you want something free and reliable, MSpaint is your best bet. happy pixeling.
  16. CC welcome. this is my 3rd attempt, no excuse i know but :P. anywho, any ideas for a background? i made it for my PIP (pure in progress). only done the linework. for anyone that knows me, i like linework. this took me about 1-2 hrs to do. here it is:
  17. pixel sigs aren't meant to be rushed. not bad for a first attempt though. but next time you should take your time... if not, pixel is not for you.
  18. this is one way to know if you're a runescape addict. nice job though... get a digital camera. ;)
  19. awsome, i'll give this a try. though i'm not sure if my ISP hosting has PHP enabled. :?
  20. Jervi replied to Luis's topic in Art and Media
pretty funny. but the advance thing, the little icon shouldn't be a pixel drawing. nice job though. it's me that's being grinded.
  21. well it is better. add a border and choose a better font for the text.
  22. find tutorials on abstracts/grunge backgrounds since you have photoshop. your current sig is really bad. doesn't matter how long it took you to make, you should spend more time on it if you want people to appreciate it. rating: 1/10. not much effort put in, sorry.
  23. not everyone has that kind of money to spend on a sig. :P runescape_rocks; i wouldn't really use any of them. you should practice more on your linework. and the character looks like you just copied and pasted from your current sig. oh and add a border.
  24. it looks more like a mouse holding a banana.
  25. that's awsome. 9/10. keep up the good work. :D
