nice shading on the hand. i like it... simple and easily understood what the message is meant to be. 9/10. would be 10 if an awsome background was with it. :P

maximum of 2 images in sigs isn't it?
  3. too flat. nothing really special going on. i think mods will delete this soon though.
  4. 5/10. shading is pretty decent. but since they're runite rocks, shouldn't the scene be in the wild?
  5. that sig is awsome. you are getting better with every sig. hmm... i really need to start learning shadowing. :?
  6. foreground looks flat, nice job on the sky. the guy on the left's arm looks out of place. the guy on the right's legs are too straight IMO. nice job all around, i'd say 5/10 for now.
  7. 3/10 copy and pasting isn't really that difficult. try downloading trials of better graphic software like photoshop. not bad job on the buddy, the right wing on the buddy looks like it's floating away and the right hand looks too short; missing an elbow?
  8. i commented on these on your other thread...

2nd one looks nice, but not really abstract. 3rd is pretty good too, is that brushing cloud cause i think you over brushed it with the rendered pic. and also add a border. 4th is too dark, if you want to lighten a certain part of the image, try this: *use the lasso tool *set the feather to 15 px *trace around the dark part of the image *click on Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness\Contrast... *then fiddle around with it to lighten that part of the image

ill give you a few tips on making abstracts: *needs to be lighter, darkish colours are more grunge types. *download some new brushes. *don't over brush especially over the rendered pic. *try adding a border, it makes sigs seem more completed. to make a pixel border on photoshop: 1. make a new layer 2. press ctrl + a (selecting the whole layer) 3. then click on Edit > Stroke... 4. set width to 3 px and colour to white 5. repeat steps 1,2 and 3. 6. set width to 1 px and colour to black.
  11. nice style. what do you call that? 10/10, keep it up!
  12. a bit too dark on some spots and does seem a bit blurry. pretty good brush work though.
  13. i'm a noob! :wall: anyways back on topic. download better fonts, play around and find a perfect spot to place them... especially the name. good font site i use are: http://www.1001freefonts.com http://www.dafont.com the background could be alot better, if you're using photoshop i suggest to learn how to do grunge/abtracts. alot of tutorials out there... just can't remember then right now. and with the rendered pic, the black figure person with the ipod. was it like that or did you play around with it with effects and such? doesn't really look too good and try to make the background similar to the rendered pic, it'll look much better. and place a border on it. if you're using photoshop, follow these steps: 1. press ctrl + shift + n (make a new layer) 2. press ctrl + a (selecting the whole layer) 3. then click on Edit > Stroke... 4. set width to 3 px and colour to white 5. repeat steps 1,2 and 3. 6. set width to 1 px and colour to black. borders help, believe me. good luck sig making! :D
  14. nope, don't know what you're talking about. :P and i live at home.. not a rock. hehehe.
  15. updated so far. fixed the bag so it doesn't look so full and started making the dark figure (hacker)... any comments?
  16. What you mean by this? Pictures of Link are copyrighted, you are supposed to only use stock images. how do we know if an image is stock? i'm kind of confused by what you guys mean... :?
  17. the first one with full rune is awsome, though you should really place it with an actual background like the last sample. the second and third to me seems poorly drawn compared to the first sample, nice shading though. work more on your pixeling and try to create your own style that differs from the rest. then you'll be rolling in gp in no time. good work though.
  18. here are my thoughts: *font is plain. try downloading new fonts that can incorporate with your sig. *seems like it was just put together in 1-5 mins. find a style that you like, and read tutorials about it. *there's not much going on in the sig. seems empty, is that the feel you are looking for? *place a border, it helps. oh and about your comment on glowing text on paper, it doesn't matter. if you are making a sig on paper then yes glowing text is difficult and wouldn't be plain. but it's obvious that you did that sig on a computer and alot of graphic programs can easily create glowing effects on text. but like what ryan said, nice go for a first attempt but you're better of starting again. good luck at sig making! keep at it.
  19. don't really know who those guys are but the left hand side looks too light compared to the right. pretty good though. i suggest you add like a second border pixel eg. like 1 white with 3px and the other 1 black with 1px. it makes the border more noticable and makes the rest of the picture stand out more... well i think so. :D good job!
  20. good job with the last one. your getting better and better. start taking on other styles like abstract/grunge. keep up the good work.
  21. Jervi replied to r2-pleasent's topic in Art and Media
yeah pretty cool pixel. i suggest to just draw the background aswell.
  22. yeah i'll try and edit it. will probably need to redraw that part of the bag in paint... hmm. <_<
  23. i think i saw that. you have awsome sigs in your signature. :D i'm not selling it, it will replace my current one that i bought for 50k. :D here's the updated version with background. the coins didn't look really like it was falling from the bag so i fixed it. comments/suggestions? :D i'll work on shading later. *goes to read some tutorials for shading pixels.* :D
  24. hopefully hundreds of thousands. i'm already selling abstracts for thousands. ;)
  25. still incomplete, will work on background later. i drew it all in paint, with my mouse. :D so yeah! any thoughts/suggestions? note: flaming is allowed but really not necessary. :P
