It's a lot more diverse and takes a hell of a lot more talent than most punk/rock bands out there today Ha... Could have sworn Ska takes about ten times as much talent as any Metal band. Not to mention that the drummer isn't the only one with talent in the band. Huh? Go learn guitar then come back. Oh and as for what I like about metal... well a big + is how much there is, you'll never run out of metal bands to listen to. And lot of diversity, neo classical power metal to black. The speed of it, ferocity, and how after a 21 minute doom metal song you just sit there thinking wow... I don't know, it's hard to put into words. Mostly the speed and power getting you pumped.

So you come and post a negative comment about metal in a metal topic and don't want an arguement? There is HEAPS of metal with clear vocals, and the majority have good lyrics. Don't criticise the entire genre because of lyrics from cannibal corpse/deicide/marduk.

Black metal is more high pitch vocals, death is the low pitch. None of the BM bands i listed have low pitch vocals.

Cannibal corpse aren't REAL, in my opinion they just rely on their reputation to sell albums. Stupid lyrics + album covers apparently means your heavy. My hat is off to a metal band containing that many members. It takes quite some timing to get all 9 in the right rhythm and mistakes could mess up alot. Slipknot arent metal. And they only have 3 members who actually do anything, the rest are stupid things. Like a DJ? Some guys beating a big drum? Way overrated and stupid band.
