I'm going for 99 magic, but i want to know what to alch, as i will be going for it by alching my way, but i want to know what to alch,

 

 

 

this are my questions i want help with,

 

 

 

what item to alch?

 

how much does it alch for?

 

will i make a profit on it by alching?

 

how much should i buy the item for?

 

will i need to add things to the item (Attach bows etc.)?

 

if yes, will i lose profit, and roughly how much?

 

 

 

i will not put how much i'm willing to spend, i would like to see what would earn my most profit, or the smallest amount lost.

 

 

 

also whats the average xp/hour for alching?

 

 

 

and if you would like to surgest any other way to get 99 magic, please do so, just surply details on what it is, will it earn profit etc.

144520 Cosmics is how many u need if u got the MTA route. You would use lvl 5 enchant until level 87. Then use lvl 6 enchant until 99. Since you can double craft cosmics u can buy 72260 pure essence. In all this method wud cost u about 11.5M

I took the combat way, 97 magic atm and made lots of profit.

 

Dag kings with high lv spells, fire bolts vs tzhaars/steel drags, etc.

 

Hp exp too;p

 

Tried alching, MTA, all too boring. Combat spells were never boring tho=p

I alched Sapphire Bracelets, bought the sapphires,mined and smelted all gold ores. I don't know if this fast at your level, but from 63-64 it takes 300 or so braces. Try alching bloated leech pouches, 2k a pouch.

I maged steels all the way to 99 and loved it. On the downside, its not the fastest method and you'll probably lose money, but on the plus side, you get hp xp, prayer xp, charms, the chance at a visage that more then pays for your training, and, best of all, you dont have to click a hundredbajillion times. Imo the pros far outweigh the cons, but its up to you.

I am currently trying to figure this out to. I am 78 mage and I really want to get to 86 so I can make my own planks for construction. I do not plan to buy anything though! So now I am trying to figure out what the fastest way would be without me spending a year making runes. If anybody has a way please do tell.

I got to 99 mage by fire wave at metal drags, cost a bit, but made some back aswell, very wuick as well as hp exp and not boring.

Thats 100 dhide bodys a day.

It's 100 per 4 hours and there are tons of good items to alch in P2P. With 6 GE slots you can get a maximum of 3600 items per day - like 200k mage exp. Smart mages alch and do something else like MTW, combat or...
