Krumpy
Hello, What could I do the best as a ranger, Range+Prayer+Def (So I can do restless ghost for alot other quests, and wear dragonhide.. only bad thing about that is that I also get Stre exp) Range pure Range+Prayer Range+Defence or anything else? Another question, if I dont do Dragon slayer, can I wear Blue/Black/Red dragonhide body? STATS:
Gin_and_Tonic
Do Dragon slayer at early a level as possible... Your character will likely become range/mage or defences based over time. meaning strength levels do not account as combat. Get 70 ish range, 44 pray if you feel its worth it and 40 defence. Krumpy
I dont think I will use prayer so I gues Range Def is the best for me, maybe jsut for the restless ghost quest..
kdog2fast
Depends what your goals are. I recommend doing range, def and prayer if you want to do bh or tough monster killing. I also recommend not doing dragon slayer as it will increase your str and cb lv. Use a rune chain...its good def and hardly impairs range. And if you go to members when these stats get 85+ you can own sara and armadly gwd =]

If you are training defence then why arent you doing dragon slayer, getting strength/attack levels shouldnt matter towards your combat level. kdog2fast
no you cant...still rune chain is just as good \. Plus d slayer will mess your stats up a bit. Do it if you want, unless they made it like Monkey madness when you get to decide when you want the exp. When I did d slayer they just gave the exp finishing the quest. Someone who recently did it or knows please fill us in. ( I have been on rappelz for a while and dont know all the changes which may have occured in RS). Dragon slayer I believe only gives you strength and defence experience, so if he is ranged based then he will not gain any levels because of the strength xp. Krumpy
So I need to go Defence 40 and range 99 + Dragon slayer because stre wont give me combat lvl ....? And at what lvl can I do dragonslayer as a ranger ( I mean killing the dragon) ?
All_Is_Great
Are you killing it in f2p :o ? Because you can onnly use bronze cbow with bronze bolts... If in p2p, rune/addy cbow with any bolts should be easy enough. I'd say around 50 range and maybe some def...
