vronin
I have Windows Xp SP2, Norton Antivirus 2005 and Nvidia Firewall. My problem is that i cant update my virus definitions unless i disable the firewall. Can someone tell me how can i configure the firewall to update the virus definitions without disabling the firewall ? Or at least what ports and protocols uses NAV to acces the internet ? Jaswarbrick_2
I'm not sure about Nivida because i use SP2 firewall. Try finding an "Exceptions" tab or a wizard which will help you to let certain programs work.

It's the equivalent of locking your car door but leaving the windows down.

____
You only need 1 firewall. Pick one and disable the others. Then just configure your active firewall to allow the updates.
