f2p rune mining

Back before the wildy was taken away i use to mine rune as my way of getting money. Now with the new revenants, is there any way to successfully mine rune for f2p?

You mine it in the same fashion, but with a high mage defence bonus. The reventants aren't as strong as some state them to be, but can be a nuisance. I have been told the mining is easier now, which is not good, since the ores are mined around the clock. Good luck.

The only way I can see this work is trough using scouts to check for revenants, I tried mining rune on p2p and even there the will just kill you if you keep mining (with pray and full black dhide), running away all the time ain't that nice... I suggest you give it a try, if you can avoid revenants it's a good money maker in f2p (I used to make about 300-400k an hour by doing that)

Well what is the best f2p outfit for high mage defense and where would you place your scouts to check for revenants?

A good place would be the lava maze I guess, just south of the rocks, you can get there by going trough an area with some low lvl monsters like bandits and moss giants (be sure to bring a sharp weapon to cut a spider web).

 

 

 

I don't exactly know about the whole outfit but definatly green dhide vambs/champs/body + maybe a wizards hat/anti-dfire shield?

For outfit use full green dragonhide armour. That's enough, Revs are big noobs these days. Even prayer isn't needed anymore. Just run away and log. They don't follow you.

 

Well, scouts are useless. You won't need them but if you want to just stay at the rocks and look around for a yellow dot.
