green9090
Get a bunch of trading sticks (buy semi-precious gems and sell them to the Tai Bwo Wannai co-op) and cut them in the hardwood grove there. You can bank them with one of those guys by paying trading sticks. StuntLandia
ok, I've never tried this before. I can bank in the hardwood grove, by giving a man trading sticks, which I get in tai bwo wannai, by selling those gems. How do I even get the hardwood grove? -Devoted12-
In Tai-Bai-Wannai (Dunno if that is how you spell it) there is a fenced area. Inside this fenced area, there is a lot Mahogany and Teak trees. You need 100 Percent favor, only once, in order to get into the fenced area and cut the wood. You get "favor" by helping the people in the village. Refer to this Tip.It Guide... http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=taibwowannai_cleanup.htm Once you have 100 percent favor, you can now cut the trees inside this area. It costs 100 Trading Sticks in order to enter the area. If you leave the area, you have to pay another 100 sticks to get back in. There is a guy, I believe he is west of the fenced area, on the way to the General Store roaming. You can send parcels from him. (This means he will take your items and send them to the bank) However, this is not free. It will cost 10 more sticks per log to bank. Then, you just repeat. It is fairly fast xp, but I would recommend doing teaks rather than Mahogany. Teak sell for about the same amount, are much faster to cut, and sell faster than Mahogany. Have fun cutting! -Devoted12-
So I have to pay 110 trading sticks each time I back? What is the fastes way to get trading sticks? No. Say you have a load of 27 logs. (1 inventory space is for the trading sticks) You would have to pay a total of 370 trading sticks in order to cut and bank all 27 logs. Profit is a little less than a 1-1 ratio. For every xp you get, you get a gp in profit. Get trading sticks through the mini-game or selling some gems, like previously stated.

Try it out, it won't let you cut in there unless you have gotten 100 percent favor atleast once. You can enter with fairly any favor, but what is the point if you can't cut the wood? When I first did the minigame, I got to about 30% favor, then got bored and collected my sticks, and went into the grove. I was able to cut them just fine. Then it varies for person because I specifically remember me needing to get 100 percent favor in order to cut the wood and I was talking to everyone in a clan chat, from this forum, in order to make sure my account wasn't faulty. A couple of other trustworthy members told me 100 percent as well. I am not calling you a liar, I am just saying that I did need 100 percent favor and I am positive of that. I guess its possible that the game was updated, the first time I played it was about 2 years ago!
