Dump the d bow, it is rubbish for training. Stick to throwing knives or rune crossbow with broad bolts.

You'd need to find someone below level 60... Who's able to plant yew trees. ;) Training Farming with assist doesn't work, period.

I recommend taking Guthans (or bones to peaches) and kill them in the chaos tunnels. You can easily heal off the Zammy Monks next door.

They're an awesome task. Wear melee def armour and black mask. Pray range, and take them down with a cannon. They give insanely fast xp, and most of the time, you end up with a profit.

Melee them in chaos tunnel. Fullstop. Initiate, Whip + Deffer, combat familiar and melee pray flashing. Works pretty well and is awesomely fast xp. Oh, and nice charms too.

Nope, the best dragonhide is still green. Although there are now Dragonhide Coifs, which are the best headgear for f2p rangers. EDIT: Oops, too late, sorry. Yeah, stick with rune, corrupted dragon is useless. :)

You can start Ape Atoll at about 67 (with pot), you will fail too much before that so wildy course is better xp.

And do not, I repeat, do NOT try to train smithing with cannonballs. It's terribly slow xp and terribly slow money. Better make Iron Knives and spend the time saved for earning money. In a quick way.

If you've teamed up with Lucien after the Temple of Ikov quest, you can kill Armadyl Disciples in the temple who will drop one eventually. If you finished the quest the nice way, you can simply talk to them and they'll give you one ;)

Do not try Waterfiends before level 68 summoning, it's useless ;) Believe me, I tried.

So just stick to Mazncha (Canifis), his tasks are incredibly quick so you can do your tenth tasks at Duradel without waiting too much. :)

Mazncha. And every 10th task Duradel. Gives the most points in the shortest amount of time. XP, however, are a different story ;)

Why use the tassets? As far as I know, there are no Bandos followers inside the Armadyl Chamber. Just use Torags or Veracs or whatever, better def at a lower price. Str bonus doesn't matter when you're ranging ;) EDIT: OK, just noticed tassets give awesome range def... Ignore the above message. ;)

A cheap price? 2,1m is cheap? I'd only use a berzerk ring if I had no other use for the money. But if you want to invest all your money towards slayer (which you obviously want), go for it, it's quite useful :

Sorry for double post. Works quite well, I kill between 30 and 40 fiends per trip while drinking about 6 doses of prayer potion. Not too bad, I guess, I'll finish the task :)

Hello, I just got a 199 waterfiends task from Duradel. I read several guides, but it seems that I am missing some skills and gear. My stats: 81 Def/Atk/Str, 80 Range, 80 Mage, 60 Pray, 60 Sum. I don't own a SS neither a Z Spear, although I got the cash. But I'm too much of a cheapskate for that tbh. Should I skip this task or is there a way in which I could finish it anyway? I'd prefer not to use the Guthan method, for it is said to be pretty much damn slow. And I'd also like to use my slayer mask, so Guthan's is a last resort. Are there any other methods?
