Warped Terrorbirds from a Slayer task

I hear these are the most hated of all slayer tasks - but i'm no quitter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I found some info on the internet and just have a few questions before i set off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Earmuffs or black mask? (i don't have slayer helm)

 

 

 

2. Prayer or food? (stats in sig, please state melee or ranged prayer)

 

 

 

3. What type of armour? (Proselyte + other prayer boosting equipment, or some prayer + some melee defence?)

 

 

 

4. What type of attack? (slash, crush etc...)

They're an awesome task.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wear melee def armour and black mask. Pray range, and take them down with a cannon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They give insanely fast xp, and most of the time, you end up with a profit.

I did: but that guide describes exactly how they're best fought..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's basically: melee armor + pray range + do everything so the task is over ASAP (thus cannoning)..

 

 

 

Another thing I tried is safespotranging with a crystal bow on long range.. You can reach futher than they can in that case but it's slow + very annoying.. (hard to find safespots..)
