Charms! :O

alright i know theres enough threads on this, but this is a bit more complex.

Black Demons in the chaos tunnels: Really worth the pray pot waste just for some crimsons? And if so, can I do them with my levels? (and if there are more than the wall-safes can I range?)

Waterfiends: Lol i know for a fact im way too low-of-a-level to kill these even close to effectively with a zamorakian spear, so I wanna know when I can kill them effectively. I know its quite far from now.

Blue charms: Ok, this is asked too often, or, was, but, anyway, for my level (I would use kents guide but his is for 120s! -.-), what could I slay/kill to get blue charms more often? Turoths hasnt been the best but in 3 tasks I've gotten about 10.

Crimsons: IF black demons in the ct's arent.. well.. my thing, what else could I kill?

+Abyssal monsters, which ones are easiest to kill, how, where, and which ones are better for charms?

Thanks all.

Ray. :)

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Would be nice if you took my combat into context. Only 97, roughly 91 without summoning..

Cant go to bork either :wall:

Slayer, dusties or greater demons until you're 80-80-80. Go waterfiends after that. Burst rock lobsters if you want mage xp.

Do the quest for bork, he gives me like 6k xp/day in charms.

I agree with that, and you can kill bork with those levels.

Sorry, - didn't see your stats when i suggested waterfiends!

Yeah, ranging Black demons in CT gives a lot of charms, just bring like 10 range pots and broad bolts. and you'll be fine. They drop rune items pretty often so you'll end up making money. They have pretty low def too, so it's decent exp.

You could try using p pots, but it'll probably just be a waste of money since you can probably kill them close to as fast with range as you can with melee.

No, not even close. If you're ranging, definetely use a safespot.

And I'd just train Slayer, that's how most people raise combat now anyways.

Cockroach soldiers in Sos.

I agree with this guy, Soilders are good. Good combat training, alright drops, and most importantly, good charm drops. Mainly Crimsons.

Just keep training slayer, charms will pile up. also, your combat levels will rise, you will make alot of cash and get better gear, that will open up alot more options for you.

See what I've been saying about slayer, Ray? This post pretty much represents the general idea of slayer :|

Anywayyyy, I know you won't like this suggestion, but if you make over 192k an hour, bursting rock lobsters IS better. Yeah, you will need to make some money, but the magic and hp XP is unreal. And it is the best way, in terms of total time (time to earn money for bursts + actual bursting). That failing, you could do dust devils, I guess...

Or *ugh* slayer, its really a veeeery distant third, though. Train your combat at DT skeles and do waterfiends if you really don't like lobsters :-#

Dry streak records: Saradomin 412 kills Bandos 988 kills Spirit Mages 633 kills - Slayer Sucks

I think the 192k/hour is impossible to figure out. It relaly depends on how much you make per hour, and it was around 800k/hour if you don't really value the mage xp to the fullest.

I would actually reccomend slayer. The thing is, you actually gain Slayer xp. Most players will value this later in Runescape, so might as well start now. It tends to be less monotonous, as well. (Subjective, I know. But still... :| )

Yeah I've started slaying again but stopped at this blue drag task. Gets annoying when I 10/20(etc) on sumona -.-

I wouldnt mind wasting so much cash at rock lobs if i had..

1. The money (not much in bank atm, used on summon/d axe, etc)

2. Ancients lol

And yeah I know slayer isgood for charms, its basically the best for me, but, even though blue drags drop greens semi-often, I cant be stuffed doing them right now, possibly for a few days. Gotta train my pray flicking

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Rock lobbies for reds, dark beasts for blues (and the occasional dark bow). Golds can be done at fire giants, getting a few high price drops in the process. Here's what I know about those methods:

Rock lobbies should best be ice bursted for maximum kills. They have high melee and ranged defense, so magic is the best option. They drop crimsons quite frequently and you'll get quite a bit killing several at a time.

Dark beasts shouldn't be ranged with under 90 ranged, so you should use protect from prayer and melee them. But then again, it requires 90 slayer which you are still quite far away from, so this wont be an option. If you ever do reach the requirements for this beast, it'd be best to kill these for blue charms.

Fire giants can be done at your ranged level, so no worry about that. Go to Brimhaven if you wish to melee with guthans and dragon, and Baxtorian Falls if you wish to safespot them with ranged or mage. They have great drops and drop golds and a crimsons every once in a while.

Lmao.

Rock lobsters are for crimsons, dark beasts are like 29 levels away for him, and fire giants drop crimson charms very uncommonly they mostly drop gold. :?

Crimsons - Try waterfiends, even at your level. Just aim to maximise your mage defense, Karils or Black Dragonhide is ideal. If need be sacrifice your helm/boot/glove slot for more mage defense. Pray range and attack with crush option.

A Bunyip does help but you can use a regen bracelet, or regular food. Also Guthans does work as it has a nifty crush option. Trouble is you are at risk from the mage attack, however it isn't as common as the range one, I would say 7/10 are range 3/10 are mage.

Cockroach soliders are good. Black Demons are too but I find them annoying in the tunnels and the ones in Taverly don't drop charms.

Blues are common from Dark Beasts and Gargolyes but these are out due to your slayer level. Kalphites drop them semi-often but it really isn't worth camping for these.
