calum12
OK, yesterday I completed Meeting History, and I realized that I still haven't done either part of the treasure hunt. I decided to do it, and got very annoyed as what started as 'warm' in ardougne stayed warm until I got halfway between seers and relleka. I'd like to know 1. What are the different messages the key can give, and roughly what kind of distance to they refer to? (so I can tele instead of running everywhere) 2. Roughly how many pieces of treasure are there to get? 3. Where can the treasure be? I presume no dungeons, do they extend to the wildy and places such as the desert and mort myre? 4. is it worth doing???? Thanks for answers. Hmmm.... I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later. Probably.

Cutdren
Do you actually get anything good from the meeting history one? (As in a one off treasure find like the Mjolnirs) And they can go all over the place (except dungeons) Looking for a clan!
Tim_Finch
I got 3 of them in the wilderness and 1 in the desert, but it can't go into dungeons or places such as that. They aren't exactly worth doing in my opinion. No special items, the only good things I got were a few blue, crimson, and green charms as well as 36 gold charms. Guest
Yeah. The closer to your item, the hotter you get

The messages are "very cold", "cold", "warm", "hot", "very hot", and "steaming". There's no way you can tell by those messages where your treasure is. You just have to moving and feeling the key. 2. There are about 15 different digs you get. 3. There are a few digs in the wildy, and one dig in the troll place. 4. NOT AT ALL!!!
sir_bubbabob
If you go into the quest guide section, viewtopic.php?f=113&t=755092 you will find an overview of the quest. In the overview is a good summary of where each treasure is buried.
reaper88888
It isn't worth doing. No unique items, just a small grab bag of stackables and gems, and a lot of entering the wilderness. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
