Hawks
Okay this is the first sig I have made using PhotoImpression 5/Paint. (For some reason it won't let me paste Ike transparently (no white)) C/C and help with smudging appreciated. Jopie211
Well, I could give C/C on these and tell you how to improve, but I just don't think you would be able to do something with that feedback unless you get a better program first. From what I've heard PhotoImpression is really bad for making abstract/render signatures and Paint is obviously not the way to go either. Try Gimp or the Photoshop demo instead, yes those programs might be harder to work with than what you have currently but I can almost guarantee you it will be worth it. pixel avvy by me deviantART

Hawks
Yeah the past week or so I've been trying (not really) to get my dad to download the GIMP... He won't let me download anything... What were you going to say though? It might help in the future. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
Jopie211
First of all, if you make a signature, always try to use colours from the render in the background. You can try to recolour the render to fit the background later, but that usually makes the render look unnatural. The next step is getting some depth into the signature. Try using multiple layers of smudging/C4Ds/filters (not recommended) and/or blur some parts that you want to look like they're further away and sharpen the foreground/focal. Creating some contrast between lighter and darker areas can help too, making the edges of the signature darker using a black gradient can work pretty well. Also, you should (almost) always blend the render into the background. You can do this by smudging/erasing (with a soft round brush at lowered opacity) some of its edges, don't go overboard though. And try to stay away from text effects/funky colours, usually a more simple font and smaller text looks a lot better. Just some general advice. pixel avvy by me deviantART
Cup Lion
Not sure I like the colour of the background in the link signature. Its good, though. |Signature by Jason321|
ThruItAll
I still have photoimpression. The program sucks. No offence. I'd try really hard for the GIMP. danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât
