Da Pirates
I used to play UMDs on my PSP a lot about a year ago, then I never seemed to use my PSP again, I was at 2.75 Filmware. Recently I started playing my PSP again I decided to upgrade to the newest filmware 4.(Somthing idk) and now my PSP games wont work. I was able to play them fine on version 2.75 after I started playing my PSP again. Once I updated it said "Can't read disc". I have cleaned the discs many times. How come I was able to play the discs on version 2 filmware but not version 4. Any help? BR BR BR? HUEHUEHEUEHUE
sloter
Last time this happen to me i put a new drive in my PSP and that didn't work. I ended up downgrading to 1.5 and back up and it worked again. Upgrade the the latest version know after like 3.1 FW is where it fixed alot of UMD issues.
Mamong
Try using a Pandora Battery to downgrade the FW back to 1.50 then upgrade it back up or go to Custom Firmware. [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]
VjuliusT
1.50 is a big no-no, it's useless nowdays as pretty much everything is ported to 3.XX/4.XX kernel. Could possibly be some of your Idkeys that got messed up in the update, you can't really fix if your on official firmware, I suggest sending it back to Sony for reparation if you don't know anything about downgrading and such. What are you talking about? Never said to run on 1.5 and 1.5 is not usless how else do oyu plan on getting CFW on the psp? IF your "Mr. PSP FirmWare editor" which as you descrided how you think you are your not. Lets say you were you should be worshiping 1.5.
VjuliusT
I wasn't pointing at you Sloter. The only way to downgrade from that firmware is using pandora as everyone stopped looking for exploits after pandora was found/made and with pandora (Using DC) you can upgrade to a higher custom firmware directly without going to "1.5 > 3.52 m33 > 3.52 m33-3 > Higher" Also you can't go down to 1.50 with slims (Nothing to with this though). 1.50 used to be the "1337" firmware but now everything is supported on higher firmwares as well. Sloter seems like you've been out of the community for too long.
Da Pirates
You guys in these boards try waaay to hard tbh, all I did was choose "restore default settings" and the games work. I got a new problem though, I can't go online on the games. I can use the browser but, when I goto connect within the game, my connection is blacked out. I assume this is becuase I am running on a WPA key router. BR BR BR? HUEHUEHEUEHUE

Personally when someone is tryign to help you and then you tell them they try to hard you really think they want to help you out again? Bit of advice better watch what you say and then ask for help. ;)

And Julius, if you were pointing that statement at me, I clearly said upgrade back up AFTER downgrading. I agree, 1.50 is useless nowadays, DA is still releasing 1.50 kernel add ons but it's getting increasingly unneeded now as most homebrew runs on 3.xx/4.xx CFW. VjuliusT
Ah my bad Mamong, reread your post, I'm sorry got a little excited there although theres no need to downgrade back to 1.50 as you can upgrade/downgrade to a higher custom firmware directly now days . Mlb maybe you could post a detailed post about your problems for once? Your saying it's blanked out? Is it searching for a connection (Leds blinking)? Are you using wlan power save?
