Pixel sig

Featured Replies

Hi, well, I'm making a pixel sig, maybe for myself, maybe to sell, but at the moment, I'm not that good. I wondered if if I posted it at different stages, people could give CC on it, before I get too far and have to go back and change loads. Soooo, well, this is just the outline, but is there any body position or anything that looks wrong?

Cheers Guys :D

Well what do you expect ? it's just a stick model...Pretty pointless on its own imo. Without even knowing the currect point of view it's hard to say if the body is right or wrong. If it's a frontal view it's wrong cause the upper side of the body seems out of proportions...if it's seen from an higher then normal point of view that it can be correct due to a 3d-like deformation.

The position reminds me of some1 ready to throw a Javelin...if this is what you plan to or not...i can't say. So please try to make something more in a sig before asking "Am i going the wrong way?". At this stage of your work it could go either this way or the opposite one...and i personaly don't have a crystal sphere on my desk...

13 veiws and no posts is nothing. 100 veiws or so is normal. Not everyone wants to watse there time posting on things that dont interest them.

I'm not going to even say anything about the model..

Also, don't double post if its pointless.

His right side looks stretched over a bit (His right is on the left side of the picture), you could fix it by moving his right arm over closer to his head (not too much).. Saying that the legs look too short which is the main problem, but especially the one behind, apart from that I suppose its good though it is in its earliest of stages so from tbis point it can either become amazing or bad.. Its all down to you.

It would be nice to see what you choose for a background, if you change his back leg more it would look like he's running towards something.. Maybe castle wars? Anyway its not my decision, what ever you choose is up to you, you just have to work on it untill your happy with the results..

Thanks for your help. He is supposed to be facing kind of liek, diagonally to the right (on the picture)and down, about to hit something, probably with like a club in his hand, I aint decided, so that is why his left side is stretched a bit, and the back leg is short. But yeh, i suppose it is a bit extreme.

And Godslayer, you say people dont post if they are not interested in it. As you posted and said nothing about the model, does that mean to say your interest is putting people down?

If putting someone down makes them stop doing something annoying, then yes, that is interesting.

I don't realy think you have to close a thread just cause some1 is in an obvious bad mood 8) . Just improve your work and post here you progresses. No reason to make another thread later on...

Practice drawing dinosaurs, they're similar and easy to find a (speculative) picture of them.

ok, will do. Would it be dishonourable to model it on the picture in the bestiary!?

lol, right. Problem s, Humans are easy cos you can stand in the poistion that you want your char in and see where everything is in relation to other parts of your anatomy, but actually designing an anatomy...:S I think I might just kinda put the head and front leg on, and have him like mainly off the page

Godslayer imo is definately in the top 3 of the best sig makers, the other 2 would be elvy (punkage) and misterxman would DEFINATELY be the best.'
