Mithril Dragon Hunting Guide and Lumbridge Achievement Diary

Featured Replies

I found a few things that could be added to the Mithril Dragon Hunting Guide.

First, in the first or second paragraph you refer to a mithril dragon as both "he" and "it." For ideal form, the "he" should be "it."

There are two other ways of getting to the Mithril Dragon dungeon that are faster than either Ardougne or the Fishing Guild, two of the three areas you mention the possibility of leaving from. The Skills Necklace, an enchanted dragonstone necklace, can teleport people outside the Fishing Guild who do not have 85 magic and/or the Lunar spellbook active.

An even faster way to get to the Mithril Dragons' dwelling area is to teleport to the Grand Tree (via Grand Seed Pod, Gnome Glider or Spirit Tree) and use the shortcut to the northeast to access the Waterfall directly. This requires 37 Agility.

The Beginner section of the Lumbridge Achievement Diary specifies that those tasks require "No quest requirements" and "Low skill requirements." More accurately, there are "Few quest requirements" and "No skill requirements," as no skills are required and one quest, The Restless ghost, is needed for one part of the Beginner section.

And, last but not least, take Route D (Red) by arriving at the Gnome Stronghold by Spirit Tree, Gnome Glider, Grand Seed Pod, or another method. Then, use the agility shortcut to the north-east, and you'll find yourself a short walk east of the Falls.

We tried to just list the most common methods of getting there-I personally doubt many people will run from ardougne, but it's included because some people don't care to lose an inventory space.

The Mithril Dragon is a level 304 creature with an immense amount of defence. It uses all three attack styles, unlike it's cousins (Bronze, Iron and Steel), and is weak to crush attacks. It has a maximum hit of approximately 18 for both mage and range and 28 for melee. Note that Mithril Dragons are also immune to poison. They are located in a cave which requires the completion of the Barbarian Training minigame, which can be started by talking to Otto Godblessed; his hut is near the top of Baxtorian Falls, on the west side.

I do not find any instance of "he" in that paragraph, although I do recall adding both the grand tree possibility and the he part. Is this by any chance a repost from a while ago?

No comment on diaries for now.
