I know this will sound nooby but here it goes. Once I'm done getting all the gold and crimson charms i need for 99 summon, I'm going to head over to the lvl 90 dagannoths on waterbirth island. all i want is recommendations for what my invo should be.

I'm just curious what exactly you want to do with lvl 90 dagannoths on Waterbirth island?

 

It must be something special, if you need to get all charms for 99 summoning first.

Dagannoth drop dagannoth hide which is needed for the dagannoth pouch, and im just getting all the charms i need to get to 99 summoning thru high alch, then what ever charms i get from the dagannoths is extra for me to use on summons i will actually use.

its not lvl 1 its says that because its tied to my highscores xp and im not ranked yet

I think it's a little early, by the time you're done, there will probably be better inventories.

It seems everyone is caught up on how you want 99 summoning, which is overshadowing your question, to answer good melee defence, I wouldn't recommend prayer potions, and if you have a bunyip, use it, also good food would help, guthans is good to use here if you have it.
