Dragon Scimitar and Rune Defender?

I don't know if a Rune defender goes well with a Dragon Scimitar.

for slayer: slayer helm, guthans pl8, torag legs, d boots, fury...maximimize str bonus

 

for str training: basiclly the same, maximize str bonus, or try ss (even better than gswords for str)

Rune defender adds 19 to slash attack and 5 to strength, no? So go ahead and use it with d scimmy.

D scimmy with Rune Defender works fine.

 

 

 

I made a thread a few weeks back discussing Obby Sword + Zerker Necklace combo, which is better than the D scimmy but worse than the Saradomin Sword for strength training. If you have high attack and an extra 700k or so, consider it. It also works well with the Rune Defender.

Ill vouch for the obby sword being better then d scim. Use lunge to train str and not slash however, and a high attack helps. with a slayer helm its even more golden on tasks =]

Rune defender and dragon scimitar are actually a pretty good combination. Rune defender works with mostly everything.
