wioneo Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Just change your passwords and recoveries and such. if someone does have your password, it is in the vast majority of cases do to a lapse in judgement...but just in case you have a keylogger or something, you may want to do a few thousand virus scans first. Password have been changed yesterday, but it continues. And I never told my pass to anyone. I'm doing a spyware scan, then a virus one, then I'll change my password again. Duke_Kaleb Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 Easy way to unravel this problem. When you log in, Jagex provides the IP of your last log in. Check to make sure that is your ip. If it's different you have a problem. Make sure you run an up-to-date anti-virus and anti-spyware scan. The most effective way to do this is by updating all of your software, unplug your modem, run the scan, and then plug it back in. After. you do that, as recommended by others above, change your recovery questions and password. Keep your passwords and recovery questions updated regularly for best security. Basically, when you buy something on the GE, you type the item's name in the search box. When you click the item on the list, the person's that talked in that line of the chatbox is automatically added to your friend's list. Do what I do; set your chat to hide when you go there.
