  1. Freaking amazing guide! Great job! As soon as I pull in about 30m, I'm going to chin my way to 99 range!
  2. I'm sorry but I honestly stopped reading after "The concept of roleplaying games was popularized by the Dungeons and Dragons game." That's definitely an oxymoron: Popular D&D. HAHAHAHA
  3. I've demodded that account since then. No use having a level 3 I never played on. It's simply tradition.
  4. Haha, if that is all you got out of it - then there is nothing more I can do =/
  5. Well I'm glad we could help make you feel more at ease :)
  6. I'm getting rid of everything but my rares (hoping that they will continue to raise in price).
  7. To be honest - if I were in your place, I would simply ignore his comments. As I said above, Jagex can now detect Account Sharing, so there is nothing more to worry about. I recommend trying to convince him to stop sharing his account. Account security should be his utmost concern, and he jeopardizes that by allowing others to play on his account.
  8. Rare (They made Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, and Goldeneye) is simply the best in my opinion. And I believe they are making a comeback. Other then that - EA is my favorite. Wonderful sports games and FPS. The Medal of Honor (originals for PS1) were my two favorite games.
  9. Well, luckily none of those players were breaking any rules by following her - so nothing will happen to their accounts. Lets just hope someone was nice enough to step and and give her advice on what rules are and why not to report for simply following someone at the ZMI altar.
  10. If the person is advertising that he/she is account sharing (in public chat) or encouraging others to do so - feel free to report them for "Encouraging Rule-Breaking" located in the Honour category. However, account sharing is now auto-detected by Jagex so there is no real need to report them unless they are seriously advertising and encouraging others to do so. Sooner or later Jagex will find out and take the appropriate action.
  11. NO. This is not reportable. I recommend turning private chat to OFF and hoping worlds for a little while. Move to a different place then log back into your previous world if you'd like. Runescape is a BIG place - it's easy to hide if you want to \
  12. This means spamming the chat window. I highly encourage you to put the player who is spamming on your ignore list and also encourage players around you to do so also. Is saying "**** you" disruptive behavior? It's only 1 line of text. Taken directly from the Help - Respect category in the Report Abuse screen: The answer would be no. The censor is doing it's job. If the player keeps annoying you - simply right click his/her name and click ignore. Wall-Ah peace and quite. :
  13. Absolutely not! I'd never change my main's name. I've had it since two weeks after Runescape first came out.

  15. Without breaking any confidentiality rules I'll respond to this first post: Despite what you may think - I believe that quite a majority of Player Moderators consider the Crown to be more or less a "burden". Imagine constant questions and requests for help. I enjoy helping players out as much as the next person, but it does wear on one quickly, especially when you really would rather be getting along with that quest - or finishing making that last 100k before bedtime. As for the "not my problem routine" - Player Moderators are not *obligated* to help - but a good majority of them certainly don't mind when they've got free time; and it's always nice to answer a curious players questions. I am fully against entrapment. I like to play the game - not go out of my way to report players. In fact, I personally frown upon players who go looking for trouble. I've come to use my ignore list more then anything(and encourage others to do so as well) - and find myself only reporting players who go far beyond "joking" and into serious game disrupting behavior or behavior that risks the safety of themselves or others. This comes with the territory (the Crown). Imagine being the Player Moderator - being bombarded with questions when they're only trying to sell an item at the GE or having a friendly conversation while woodcutting. I admit I'm guilty of the "Enter GEMS2" option on Quick Chat - giving the standard reply to questions about modship. Player Moderators (I'm not trying to speak for *all* of them) do know a little bit more about the rules (at least) then normal players. When a Player Moderator says something about the rules - they're normally right - or if they don't know the answer - they're usually quick to ask Jagex so that they can inform the player as quickly as possible. I'm not sure why this was even brought up - the Macro Detection System works the same way for both players and Player Moderators alike. Once reported - the player in question is automatically tracked by the system.
  16. Just recovered this account - 1,857 days since last login! That's over 5 years :o
  17. I hope to soon see a correction on the website concerning this! I think it's safe to say that all players with 99 cooking can attest to cooking monks at level 90 with gauntlets, is 100% successful all the time.
  18. Personally if it was my IRL best friend, I know I already have their number...and if for some reason I didn't, I would ask them over Private Chat. Sensitive things should only be discussed in private and with people you trust (such as your real life best friend).
  19. Both myself and my cousin have gotten 99 cooking on our mains. Yet still I see in your Cooking guide that you have not yet confirmed that at level 90, while wearing cooking gauntlets, you no longer burn monkfish. I've cooked thousands of monkfish after level 90 (as has my cousin) and not once have I ever burned one after level 90. I feel it's about time you updated that part of the guide. Because while cooking in Rogues Den, I heard a lot of people asking what level you stop burning monkfish at, and everyone who was 90+ cooking there all agreed that it was level 90. Edit: These two topics have been merged together! Thanks. ~ SerpentEye
  20. Must be. I think that combat level difference plays a huge factor in it.
  21. This thread is for people who were unfairly muted. Seems like an unfair mute to me.
  22. Eh doesn't matter now. To be honest, Jagex completely ruined pking (again). #-o
  23. If you can find the QFC on RSOF it'd be greatly appreciated. :) I am also too lazy to look :P
  24. Mod Jod confirmed that it was an issue with Firefox. Make sure you have the latest version (3.5). I believe it's fixed in this one. I don't know why Firefox didn't automatically update for me, but I believe it fixed the problem.
