how do you air run?

Well, as far as I know the rune running isn't possible anymore due to the trade restrictions. Even if you can trade for a bit, your trade limit will catch up to you.

Im guessing they mean Air Running as in running to the altar and the bank to make air runes.

It is now air assisting, when you get to the altar people will say assisting x8 or assisting x9. After you look them up on the high scores, request assist and craft airs.
