Mungo0 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Well, it all depends on your situation, but for the best defence stats, you can't go wrong with Torags. Veracs are good if you want to hit through armour or prayer, so useful for KQ or similar trips. Guthans are very good for healing, but it's very expensive to buy, around 6.5 million at the moment. Ahrims is the best armour for mages, and Karils is the best for rangers too. Dharoks' very good if training strength, but apart from that, no other use really. So, it depends on your situation. Oh, and a quick notice, you don't have to go barrowing to be able to wear them, but 70 stats are required. Yes... jakelegend0 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 You will find it the same with Veracs helm, doesn't get protect over by the rest of set and is usually lost at a place like kq. Which means you have to replace the helm to have the set again. As for guthans. If you die with the set on, you will lose the spear which means you have to buy another spear. I also know for dharoks if you die with full dh, thats the helm piece as well Ahrims,Karils,Torags have junky extra bonuses so I wouldn't have the 1st idea what item out of the set you would lose. Moad14 Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 My personal favorite is Verac's, because of the prayer bonus. I don't use the full set though, I use a whip/defender instead of the flail. It might be wise to invest in a set of Verac's now, because I'm sure the price will rise, as pk-ers will want it.
