August 18, 200817 yr i get about 10k-15k xp per hour there not really effective He asked how long it will take, not how much experience per hour he may get. in the first place i would suggest useing a crossbow and bronze bolts. you hit the same as with iron arrows, but waaaaaayyyy cheaper.... and it should then take you about 9 - 11hours at your lvl... Your better to use a Maple Short Bow and Iron arrows over a Crossbow, as they experience is going to be considerably less due to the fact you do not hit as high. August 18, 200817 yr im kinda low on money since this is my pure .is cross bow good ,i never even knew f2p had cross bows.i have around 40k Don't bother with Cross Bows. Full stop. They are useless, a Normal Short Bow is the equivalent of them. Since you are limited on money, maybe you could try the Minotaur's instead. They have a safe spot and drop lots if Iron Arrows.
