Question on Popular/Hot topics

Featured Replies

I was just wondering about the requirements for a topic to be considered popular (so the little box on the side flashes0. Are they based on view count or post count? or something else entirely like word count? And could you include numbers if you know aswell? thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the posts needed for a hot topic are about 40-50. You would have to ask an admin, maybe one will show up later.

Looked at the General discussion and the popural ones were 5+ pages (100+ posts)

They are posts which are very popular, so with a lot of posts, or handle about a subject which is popular ingame (new content, future content, ...).

Woops, misread it indeed.

If you mean what Laikrob says:

75 posts is the amount a post needs to become popular. (If it isn't changed that is, but to my knowledge, it's still 75).

Think you misread it Kill Life. :)

He means the number of posts needed for the icon next to the topic to flash.

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?
