June 15, 200521 yr alright, I've heard that the harder the clue is the better the reward is. Is that true because I've gotten some difficult clues and only gotten a studded body and some runes. also, does the monster that drops the clue also affect the reward and the clue difficulty, like if you kill a guard for a lvl 2 clue, would you get a harder clue and a better reward from an ice warrior? thanks in advance for your help. one more thing. tell me what monster you killed to get a clue leading to trimmed gold.
June 15, 200521 yr I just did a Guard level 2 and got Addy Gold trimmed plate, with a Sara page to boot. Did have 2 coordinates to do though.
June 18, 200521 yr I wish that was true but alas it is not. I have gotten 4 wildy clues( 3 level 40+) and came out with only a rune pick and some sharks. It would be nice if it was harder to do that the reward was better but it is all cased on randomness.
June 19, 200521 yr Yeah its random, preety sure it is, on my sara plate clue i only had to dig 2 times in deep wildy, and find 2 npc's..
June 19, 200521 yr 1st level: trimmed and gold black, level2: addy (t) and (g), 3rd: rune (t) and (g) and god armor... R.I.P. Shiva and Steve
June 20, 200521 yr No, I've done over 20 level 3 clues in the past couple of months and can find no relationship between the difficulty of the treasure trail and the reward. Busted my butt for junk and sometimes get surprised with a good reward for a relatively easy one. And it doesn't make a difference if it's a 4, 5 or 6 step level 3 clue, wild or not or even what type of monster. Sure seems to be random to me.
June 21, 200521 yr i can say it is all random, i have done many clues and tonight i did one that was so easy, took me about 22 min to do, and i got (my big things) zammy plate and robin hood hat
