hi, i never really paid attention to the rune gauntlets since i dont like pvp so i dont play fist of guthix, and some people told me that rune gauntlets degrade over time and i have to use more tokens to repair them..

 

 

 

but now i checked the tip.it database and found this information:

 

 

 

"This item only needs to be recharged if you die with it on or in your inventory. To uncharge this item, use them on Reggie in Fist of Guthix. "

 

 

 

so rune gauntlets do or do not degrade? if they don't, i might as well face my fear and play fist of guthix a few times to get the tokens for it...

everything but the gloves either degrades, or dissolves. if thats the right word.

Edit: They DO break, but not by degrading. They break if you die with them, so be careful. The shield degrades though.

ive had my dragon gauntlets since the week FoG came out, and i haven't taken them off ever except for when i was cooking (cooking gauntlets) and mine haven't degraded.

Gauntlets don't degrade unless you die with them on or in your inventory. They then go into a 'broken' form. They also need to be in this form to trade them. Shield and all other items do degrade as you use them. You need to use FoG tokens to recharge them.
