Jaziek
People of a decent age, and also fans of old school gaming, will know and love the old infocom games. I was reminded of them whilst reading an article the other day, and started to play through a couple again. These games are HARD to do without any help, and are pretty well written. (well they'd have to be, since they have nothing else to go on.) I thought I'd share a site I found which has a pretty big selection of the most famous ones. http://www.xs4all.nl/~pot/infocom/ if you're new to these, start off with Zork 1 - The Great Underground Empire Basically, just type in what you want to do. simple as that. Lenin64
The only game I've ever played like that was Thy Dungeonman from Homestarrunner. Not really hard, but fun. Command the Murderous Chalices! Drink ye harpooners! drink and swear, ye men that man the deathful whaleboat's bow- Death to Moby Dick!BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! anonymous1234
These games never interested me because they never understand what you are trying to say -.- And sometimes you can't do a certain action for no reason, when it is clearly possible. Nadril
I'll be honest and say the closest I ever played to a text adventure was one of the old kings quest (and I didn't get far). Way too confusing for as young as I was.
