Lock please, starting over. Thanks for suggestions, but I'll probably just make it into a vector.

Us british can be real [puncture]s sometimes. With the pic, the blood deosn't look realistic. I would work on texturing it on his skin

Whatever "[puncture]" means in that case.

What the anti-yank said. It looks too much like you just used a splatter brush, really. Problem is, I wouldn't know what to do here to make it look realistic either.

Maybe use Nadril's 3D modelling blood cell as a reference - the texture seems fairly realistic. Or render a bit of blood and then use a clipping mask on the boxer's face?

As for the lighting, maybe a medium soft brush at very low opacity - or you could experiment with blending modes like overlay, lighten, diffusion etc.

And Dsavi, I wasn't being anti - yank, but saying that I despise the way us British axt sometimes.

Try putting a layer mask on it?

You could keep it like it is promise, would look rather comical if you added some googly eyes or something

Yeah, after adjusting contrast and all that, I liked the way it was, so I kinda just slapped on the brush. It wasn't really meant to look like blood, but more of an impact effect thing. Ha, I think its fine without anything else.

Doesn't look like you did much to be entirely honest. Brightness/Contrast adjustment, and a splatter brush and text. :| . I may be wrong but that's all It looks like.

I added my smudge thing. TBH, no clue what I was doing, so feed back is needed. lol

Looks alright tbh, though colours need adjusting. You used a chalk brush right?

2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

Chalk brush is awful.

Redone...Redone? More like Re-down! #-o . That is a horrible filter. If you were going to use it, I would suggest toning it down a tad.

Lol so corny.

Alright, just the basic idea. I'm thinking about making a vector out of it, but it would take a hella long time.

Yes, but one hot result. I'd like to see your vectored version of this.

Ha, doing one person takes around 8-12 hours. This will be a pretty big project for a rather small image. :wall:

I guess I'll give it ago tomorrow if I have the time.
