August 29, 200817 yr I am smelting a LOT of bars, so I want to know - which furnace in the F2P world is closest to a bank? August 30, 200817 yr Like everyone else has said, Al-Kharid. I've experimented with both of them from geting 0-55 smithing from either smelting/smithing. If you get bored with smelting try smithing. Closest Bank->Anvil is the West Anvil in Varrock.

August 30, 200817 yr trust me when i say this. its alkharid. my pure has gotten smithing level just from smelting from 1 to 42. this is the fastest way by far. the only cons is that its not in such a big city so u might find it a little dull and boring. also remember: right click on the furnace and smelt x amount of ores. it saves so much time than individually clicking each one. u might have known this already but some ppl actually dont. :oops: good luck smelting :D
