August 30, 200817 yr What would be the best way of smithing - not smelting - that a level 64 smither could level to 70? In other words, how could I smith my way from 64 smithing up to 70 with minimal loss? Thanks
August 31, 200817 yr HHm, for F2P, i'd suggest Steel plates and alch. It will be expensive, but meh =/ MY RUNESCAPE GOALS
August 31, 200817 yr I think steel plate bodies have minimal loss, although there is still a great loss. An idea is too smelt your own steel bars and use them to smith steel platebodies, you will still make a loss but no where near as much.

August 31, 200817 yr With steel plates if you are smithing them yourself it's a 1500 loss per plate. If you are buying them it is a 2000 loss per plate. I suggest smithing them yourself. There really is no great f2p way. You could try mining gold ore and then buying steel bars with the money you make. Click here to learn the best profit from MTK.

August 31, 200817 yr ok out of all of those from the post above me which one is the minimal lost. and that will be your answer.
August 31, 200817 yr i reccommend superheating mith bars #2, that's what I did. Most high level smithers do superheating anyways because it's only small loss or sometimes profit for good exp. [404] Signature not found.
