I was wondering if there was a designated Great Orb Project world in F2P or is it just world 1 gathering of people there?

Just go on full worlds or world 16 to play gop.

Jagex hasn't put up an officially themed world for the Great Orb Project. But you'll never find yourself short of players in world 1, 3, 4, 5 or 16.

You can go to pretty much any world and there will be enough people to play.

Blurite44, from my travels, World 3 appears to be the designated "always can play here" world. I've tried 1, 4, and 5, only to occasionally find them devoid of players. :( ... However, I'll have to check out Dragon_lord's reference of w16, as it sounds like there is a chance of it being active due to the Air RuneCrafting Running. :-k

Two worlds (60 and 61) have been designated as suggested 'Great Orb Project' worlds. While we've noticed a fair amount of activity on worlds such as 1, 2, 6 and 9, these are the main trading worlds and are often near capacity or full. Therefore, we have selected 60 and 61 so that you'll be able to log in straight away and join others who're playing this minigame.

 

 

 

It's all I wanted to add

In our defence this just happened today (September 2nd), after we had suggested worlds for the mini-game. :P

The downside of choosing crowded worlds is that players will not have enough time to log into them. On the other hand however, if the worlds have very few people, you won't find many players willing to play.

 

 

 

Hence it's more worthwhile to choose a world that isn't very crowded, yet has a decent number of people. Worlds like...um 60 and 61.

 

 

 

My defence is that people have the right to information and i'm using it right now :P
