a7x_fan_4eva
Depends what you are ranging. If you are ranging a low-leveled monster or something with a low level of defense, void would be better as the loss of accuracy would not be that much noticed. If you are ranging a high level monster or something with high range defence, say metal drags, I would probably say arma is better as you would be hitting more consistant, lower attacks, then a lot of 0's and one high attack with void. I personally take void on everything when ranging, because if you spend 8 hrs doing a boring, pointless minigame, you want to show it off a little. ;) 14 Skills at 99 All Skills 85+ 2370+ Total 3058 Glacor Kills 326 Shards of Armadyl 1 Ragefire 1 Glaiven 2 Steadfast 33 Effigys 17 Abyssal Whips 5 Staff of Light 5 Dark Bows 40 Dragon Boots 16 Polypore Sticks62 Barrow Items 6 Pharah Sceptres 117 Effigys
Fevered_Flow
I actually find void more accurate than black d hides (yes its not armadyl but its getting there) on just about everything besides steel/iron drags. It seems to me like the boost from void helps more than the accuracy boost from a high ranged bonus. May just be me though #-o
Erie123
Not too long ago, I conducted a small test between void and armadyl. I shot 200 broad bolts with armadyl and barrows RfD gloves on, and 200 bolts with void. The target was a friend, who had nothing equipped and 73 defence at the time. Not counting the killing hits (which might produce smaller-than-normal hits), the average hit of void was just over two damage smaller than the average hit with armadyl. Granted, this is a small sample size, but I didn't want to waste hours on end testing this. ;)
