Ginger_Warrior
Trying to do that in places that Ginger_Warrior mentioned is just downright unwieldy, because there are things that have to be talked over that the public should not see. Who said anything about releasing the information into the public eye? Not to mention some random person on the Internet would have to do some pretty selective searching to find that information, even if it was in public view anyway. I just don't see any use for this on TIF. Clans have their own websites which can be linked to from here, the Gallery has shops... I just don't see any real reason at all. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
dsavi
I remember setting up some private forums here on tipit, and I had to send out 100+ invites. It was rather annoying. It seems like it would make sense to allow more, but as pryromancer said it would just encourage spambots. At least the moderators/staff would have a use for it. warren211
As someone else said, the amount of people you could PM should be related to your post count. It's bad enough we have players floating around sending scam site links to unsuspecting players that gives them a keylogger. Giving them the ability to send it to dozens of people at once... we should probably restrict it from Chicken feathers entirely. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.
