warren211 Posted September 13, 2008 Share Posted September 13, 2008 Yeah, they can be heard from like a quarter mile away. The sound is interesting, yet rather disturbing for me... In Illinois we usually don't have swarms (I think that's for New York) we just have some large amounts every summer. No 17 year massive invasions or anything. I hear cicadas are tasty too. At my school it's a tradition at the end of the year to roast some cicadas and eat em. Never tried any since this is my first year at the school, but it'll be interesting ;) [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers.
