Storm
It's supposed to be 75min to farm herbs right? I planted my herbs 4 hours ago and have been standing next to the patch for the last two hours and it's still not ready. One of five patches just completed growing 15min ago but the others still haven't. I planted them all at the same time. What's going on? Come dance. Aslan
Farming times have been modified, not sure to what extent. That is why I have stopped farming herbs for the moment, until the times are corrected. I only plant trees/fruit trees.
cat666
First off it is impossible to plant them all at the same time. In the time it takes to travel between patches the farming clock could have ticked. Secondly the times are only an estimate as it uses a clock which advances the cycle. If you plant near the beginning of a period then you wait longer than if you plant nearer the end of a cycle. Trust the Gene Genie!
D Jay99
I go every 1,5-2 hours most of the time, and they're always ready. Never took over 2 hours for me, guess it's just a glitch. Don't try to go every 75 mins, you'll go mad from that herbs that take a little longer to grow.
Storm
Of course I know they can't all be planted at the exact same time, but it doesn't take 15 minutes. The problem was that it had been 2 hours when I first went to harvest and even after that I waited another two hours just hanging around by the patch. After 2 hours I went to play some Mario and now they are finally all done and replanted. It did drive me crazy. Come dance.
cat666
Like I said the clock is wierd. From what I can gather each crop has a cycle. Herbs are about 5 minutes apart. So every 5 minutes the clock goes around. Every time the clock goes round the plant grows/becomes diseased/dies. Obviously if you plant near the end of a cycle it will grow almost straight away, but if you plant near the start, you have to wait that extra 4.50mins. Herbs sometimes take far longer than than they should to grow. This leads me to believe there is a rare "do nothing" option when the clock goes round. Trust the Gene Genie!
