Is this a good setup? Rune plate and legs, dragon boots, black mask, strength amultet, rune defender, combat bracelet(tells you how many monsters left), ring of wealth and d scimmy. of course, ill have to change it sometimes for earmuffs, etc. but im just asking if this is good enough.

Should be fine. When I first started i used full rune with kite. I'd switch from str ammy to glory however

Get a rockshell plate to safe the 10k you need for the glory :P.

 

 

 

 

 

Other than that you might want to go for a few other things:

 

whip - SOOOOOO usefull

 

fighter torso (only if you have high enough defense/easy healing methods like guthans though)

 

barrow gloves - rfd needed though :/

 

D skirt: @300k it's well worth the extra defense! (I rather have rune boots + d skirt than rune legs + d boots)

 

 

 

Also it very usefull to have range armor in stock:

 

full black dhide + snakeskinn boots + archer helmet + rune crossbow + avas device + unholy book (though if you don't have 1 yet idk if it's worth the 2m it costs atm, use a guthix book instead).

 

As arrows I would use broad bolts, or -if you're lower than 55 slayer- mithril bolts.

Don't bother with a fighter torso, but other than that, just go with what everyone else said and you'll be set.

I just bought a d skirt, but i cant afford whip and i dont need it anyway, im training strength

Why not? In some cases Barrows is better but the OP's using a rune platebody.

 

 

 

And if you have access to adamant RFD gloves or better, use them. They're better than combat bracelets, and you can just bring an enchanted gem to see how much of your task is left.
