battletrax
From the error message, it appears that windows is trying to run the picture files as if they were executables. Give some more info, such as: what hapens when you try to open files that you downloaded from the web? try downloading a pic from tipit like my sig or the logo and then try to open it. It's possible that the files people are sending you are corrupted or coming through with incorrect extensions. And for the basic question. You know the people sending the files, right? Mercifull
Does this happen ALL the time or just occasionally? It sounds like perhaps people are trying to send you a keylogger infected image but i could be wrong. What operating system are you on? Scan with Ad-aware and Spybot S&D then post a HijackThis log please. Thanks Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Karvinen
Are you sure it wasn't picture.jpg[Caution: ExecutableFile]? The default setting hides the extensions so you just see picture.jpg. The GDI+ jpeg security hole has been patched LONG time ago so it shouldn't work anymore. Jagex posted in on their "news" really late.
