Tip.it Forums should have a forum where could announce our latest video releases, and discuss about it.

 

What you think about this idea?

Simplify, simplify. The less sub/forums there are, the better. After being on a certain forum where this is not a practice, which I left nearly immediately, I can tell you that this is the best policy. Your best bet is to use the YouTube sticky in Off Topic, personally I can't imagine why we would need a whole sub/forum for this.

And i have to agree. You can post yt vids about runescape in the general discussion sticky, and general ones in the off topic sticky. Why you'd need a whole thread to discuss a video is beyond me seeing as people who want to comment can just leave one at the vid.

If you think there's a video that deserves it's own thread then there's probably a related story behind it that might be worth a new thread anyway. The vast majority of videos that would be posted don't deserve a new thread as there wouldn't be much discussion.

You can post youtube videos in a separate topic, as long as it isn't the main focus of the post. For example, if I made a thread about The Who, I might include some 'tube videos for extra content and as examples of their songs etc.

 

 

 

If you found a funny video on Youtube, don't make a new topic just about it.
