umm...for some random reasons today, i opened my computer today after hurricane IKE is gone and power returned, and i found some webpages are zoomed out a lot. Making the text extremely small to read... But i opened the same webpage on IE7, and nothing happened, the font size is normal. so..uh...idk what's the problem here..is there a zoom in button on firefox or anyway to fix this?

Hmm, you can either press ctrl and move the mousewheel while doing so, or press ctrl+0.

 

 

 

The fact that it's not doing it on all pages is odd to me though and probably means that what I mentionned is just a temporary fix. I'll think about that.

Could do what sbrideau2000 or try restarting Firefox and creating a new session.

ok it's fixed by holding ctrl and mouse wheel. tried restart firefox, but same thing happens..

ctrl + or ctrl - should increase/decrease the size.

im1knight, clear your browser cache and then try those pages again. It sounds to me like the css for those pages got damaged and a new copy wasn't downloaded. :-k

it's really weird, sometimes, when i'm reading a post with some pictures in it, when the picture opens up, the text are zoomed out immediately, some times its just plain text, and when i scroll the page down with my mouse ( without any keyboard action) the page zoom out.....but sometimes this problem doesnt exist. so i'm all confused, this thing never happened to me before.

In that case, try making sure your keyboard keys are not stuck while scrolling. (I get the impression that this is what is happening, that your modifier keys are getting stuck, causing what you're seeing, but I could be wrong.)

I don't know about that. I guess it could be anything, he did jsut get nailed by a hurricane.

um....the hurricane shouldnt damage my keyboard since its inside my house xD...

 

 

 

oh...and the keyboard was inside the table when i use just the mouse, i don't pull the keyboard tray out until i type..so idk how is it stuck...

He is jsut throwing ideas out on the table. You should be thankful for every bit of advice you get. I would tend to say that it is probally not the problem but it doesn't hurt to check. What version of Firefox are you running? Have you tried disabling all add ons and then trying?
